We initiated prayer flags business in 1990 with an effort of my father ,as he is a Tibetan Thanka artist and in addition having knowledge in Tibetan text ,it turned out to easier to start the prayer flags business. Production and at the same time our main purpose was to sell in the market. Initiation was OK but market was not good as expected. Since a lot of cheap and low quality prayer flags were imported from India and in comparison to our product it was very cheap. To divert customer and to make them buy our quality product on high price was very difficult.
Instead of competing and making cheaper quality, we maintain our quality. Quality in print, materials and finishing. Our Prayer Flags are Hand printed from Blocks . Text and images are carefully carved on blocks so that there would be no any mistake on prayers and images. This is our primary priority.
Secondary priority is, the material that we use for making prayer flags is of high quality, bright and tightly knotted Fabric,we use Permanent Printing Ink, Strong strings,and stitching process is done leaving enough border space to avoid stitching over text and images of prayer flags.
